Chicago native, Catherine Foreman, has been studying piano since the age of four, and has been an active pianist in the Chicagoland area since the age of eleven. She earned her degree in Piano Performance from the University of Illinois at Chicago, studying under Professor Ivana Bukvich. While studying at the University of Illinois, she was the recipient of the Louis Franck Scholarship for Piano. She has also received the Outstanding Instrumentalist and Musicianship Awards from Instrumentalist Magazine two years in a row, and was awarded the Palos Fine Arts Award.
Catherine is currently the Music Director for the St. John Paul II Newman Center in Chicago, and regularly plays piano, organ and sings at several Catholic churches in the Chicagoland area. She has been a faculty member at My Piano Study, Inc. since 2015, where she serves as a private lesson and group class instructor.
